Presented by:
Julie Dalley, Associate Director, Research Academy
Joseph Bavazzano, Acting Director, ADP

Day/Time: Friday, October 26, 11-12:30pm

Location: University Hall ADP Center Room 1142

In this interactive workshop, we will discuss how to cut out repetitive
lectures in your courses, and substitute supplemental videos, freeing you to use class
time for more active and engaged learning. You will learn how to outline, prep, and
record instructional videos for your students using the ADP Center’s new Digital Media
Suite. You will then have a chance to identify course content that can be recorded for
out-of-class viewing as micro-lectures, how to chunk up your lectures for deeper
learning effect, and how to shift and design classroom activities based on your
supplemental videos.
